On new Years a lots people go back their own home city and spend time with family, relative and old friends.

THINGS TO EAT

Japanese people basically eat turkey or something chicken on Christmas.

On new years actually japanese people eat japanese traditional food which is called "osechi".  It would be with always healthy things and sea foods.
